of social traditions, succession of generations, breakdown of social movement logic,
intermittent development - all these are the features of the existing stage of society’s
cultural state. Education is not only a body of knowledge, it is also the preservation of
the society’s cultural archetype, which is being expressed in behavior, ideology, rules
and norms, social relations, and implementation of traditions.
And if pedagogical goals in various pedagogical systems may have a common
denominator, the mechanisms for their implementation should differ and depend on
many factors, tradition as the embodiment of social “spirit” based on the history and
culture of the people will be one of the main ones. We are talking about the mentality
as a basic phenomenon, which must correspond to the social model and all its
structures, including the educational system.
A. Disterweg noted that this model is “culture-adjusted”, it will be
understandable, relatable and efficient [15, p. 306].
There is a relatable connection between the social system and the education
system. The social system is functioning in a certain direction and is performing
specific social tasks and functions in order to achieve public “goodness”. Therefore,
the education system should also be aimed at solving these problems. When the tasks
of education do not correspond to social tasks it is absurd. Otherwise, what can explain
the total deterioration of the quality of education, the weak susceptibility of young
students to the methods and tools for formation spiritual and the Slavic-Orthodox
society historical values? It means the loss of sociality or in other words, a social
significance of education. There is a deep contradiction in these theses. These
contradictions are manifested in the abstraction of the "education"-concept from the
system of existing socio-economic, spiritual and cultural problems and the problems
that due to this, will inevitably arise in the future. Thus, there is a lost in adequacy of
the motivation of socially recognized patterns of behavior that are not controlled by
society, but will continue being reproduced.
The process of proclaiming the values of a different cultural “more valuable”-
archetype than those existing in the Slavic-Orthodox world, leads to the destruction of
the original values and, therefore, to the incorrect, perverse interpretation of the new
ones. It is typical, that new values are the values of another culture, but we interpret
them from the point of view of the old values and socially recognized concepts. That
means that the former is destroyed, the new is not understood. And the problem here
is not in clarification and propaganda; common sense and logic are not a priority of
Slavic culture an East Slavic person lives and is lead by his intuition, but not by his
mind; therefore his character is not understandable to a representative of the Western
culture. Due to this, the works of N. Berdyaev, N. Lossky, N. Danilevsky, K. Ushinsky,
M. Weber, etc., being a methodological tool of modern sociology, continue remaining
