range. Examining the types of the exercises with information technologies usage the
author offers the following classification:
1. Exercises on forming speech competence (aimed at critical reading and
listening);
2. Exercises on perceiving of information from the Internet (perceiving electronic
text (fast reading), on structured perceiving of information, guessing, forecasting the
information contents) [4, p. 298].
It is known that there are some phases of text working: doing pre-text tasks, tasks
on the text (just the textwork), and after-text tasks. Unlike the printed variants in the
textbooks computer texts can be given not in the ready made form (with the fragment
blanks, the word blanks, with the distorted elements) for a pupil to feel a co-author, a
creator of the informational message, a creative person.
Pre-text tasks to the electronic texts are to form a pupil’s motivation for the further
work with the text, to get him interested with the theme, the problem which is
considered in the text. For example, at the lesson of the Ukrainian language while
studying the theme “Word Building” the second-form pupils are offered the text of the
poem “About Friendship” by Yu. Turchyna [8], given on the computer monitor, with
the pre-text tasks in the form of questions and answers. After every question the pupils
were to write the answers in the blanks, having read the poem at first.
