lesson, while working with the text it is necessary to do the language or speech tasks.
The electronic text “About friendship” is offered to the theme “Word Building”, so the
text tasks can be the following:

c)

After text tasks should induce younger pupils to creative thinking, prospective
usage of the text material in the context of the theme being studied. For example, the
pupils have the task:
1.
Offer the examples from the poem for the word analysis, which have no
endings.
2.
Prepare congratulation for your best friend, starting with the words: Dear
friend!
The effective computer exercises are the following: exercises on forming fast
reading skills, on establishing the text words with the unknown lexical meaning, on
giving synonyms, homonyms or antonyms to the familiar words, polysemantic words
etc. For example, at the phase of the mastering new knowledge and forming practical
skills and abilities on the theme “Synonyms” (3rd form) we put the text on the slide
and give the task to quickly read it and fill in the blanks with the synonyms:
Autumn
A yellow haired autumn is walking (____) in the gardens and squares. It is looking
in (_____) the windows with the gold of trees and grass. It is picking thin yellow leaves
and whirling them in a fairy-tale (_____) dance [8].
Studying the theme “Homonyms”, we offer an exercise on searching homonyms
in the sentences. It is necessary to explain the lexical meaning of the underlined words
and check their meaning in a short school explanatory dictionary.
We put oats (вівсянки) for the yellowhammer (вівсянки) (from the magazine). A
cold month February (лютий) was blowing, and a fox was walking very hungry and
severe (лютий) (А. Кachan). Young fox cubs (лисички) were running in the forest and
picking chanterelles (лисички) under the trees and bushes (О. Іvaniy) [8].
While working with this exercise it is desirable to teach the pupils to use the
electronic version of this dictionary. Younger pupils form abilities with the need to
leave the text of the exercise, to open some other electronic source, to find the
appropriate dictionary article and find out the lexical meaning of the underlined text
words, to close the source and return again to the text of the exercise.
The primary school pupils can be interested in the educative-searching exercises,
which contribute to forming pupils’ abilities to search for the necessary information on
