INDIVIDUAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES
OF DIVORCED WOMEN AND WOMEN
FROM NORMATIVE FAMILIES
Introduction. Ukraine is experiencing a difficult period in its history, which is
accompanied by crisis processes in all spheres of life, in particular in the sphere of
family and marriage. Being a dynamic phenomenon, the family system, as well as the
specific individuals that make it up, suffers from the actions of various factors of psych
traumatization.
In modern science family issues are considered in a sufficiently wide range. But
the problems of divorced women are not given enough attention. Divorce as a socio-
psychological phenomenon is a serious shock in human life, it takes several years to
overcoming this stressful state. Divorce has serious negative psychological, somatic,
social and economic consequences.
The problems of marital conflicts, the stages of experience of spouses of strategies
and the divorce process are considered in works: Ye. Arkhipov (2008), M. Monro
(2011), O. S. Kocharian (1994), H. S. Kocharian (1994), etc. To study the phenomenon
of loneliness after divorce, there are significant works of S. V. Bakaldin (2008), R. S.
Veis (1989), V. I. Siliaieva (2004), K. Mustakas (1972), D. Rysmen (1950), D. Perlman
etc. Features of the experience of divorce and adaptation to a new lifestyle were studied
by Yu. Ye. Aloshyna (1981), Dzh. Kelli (2000) and others. The specifics of
organization and provision of psychological assistance to women and men after divorce
were considered by Yu. Ye. Aloshyna (1999), E. H. Eidemiller (2008), V. Yustitskis
(2008), R. Kochiunas (1999), T. M. Tytarenko (2010), H. Fihdor (2006) and others.
The researchers expanded the idea of the causes of marital infidelity and divorce
((D. Kutsar, 2000; A. M. Obozova, M. M. Obozov, 1999; N. V. Poddubnyi,
S. S. Sedelnikov, 2000; A. B. Synelnikov, V. V. Solodnykov, 1999; V. A. Sysenko,
E. M. Tyit, I. N. Khmaruk, 2003; D. S. Vallerstail, 1999), on ways and means of
increasing the harmony and stability of marriage (Ye. H. Hukova, 2003; I. V. Dorno,
2005) and others.
Negative consequences of divorce for women and the related violation of psycho-
emotional states were reflected in the psychological studies by Dzh. Boulbi (2006),
