GETTING FUEL BRIQUETTES FROM RECYCLED COAL ASH, SLAG
THERMAL POWER PLANTS
Introduction. So far, power plants in the dumps Ukraine has accumulated 358.8
million. Tons of slag waste in the area 3170 ha. The average yield of slag reached 14
million tons. At the deterioration of the fuel tends to increase.
Despite the obvious benefits and prospects for widespread use of slag waste
volume use in our country does not exceed 10%. Commercial use of slag materials in
Ukraine in 2011 was at the level of 5 % [1]. Ash and slag waste is waste generated by
burning coal and all types of water are removed in the tailings pond.
