FAMILY DISADVANTAGE AS A FACTOR OF CRIMINALITY
WITHIN JUVENILE
Introduction. The last decades of social life in Ukraine are characterized by
increased tensions in the criminogenic environment, an alarming indicator of which is
the increase in the social danger of juvenile delinquency. The juvenile criminal activity
is significantly higher than that of the adult population. But the most dangerous and
one that needs attention is the tendency to increase in recent years so-called resonance
crimes, which are characterized by special cynicism and cruelty.
Research of the causes of juvenile delinquency shows that in the vast majority of
cases of committing crimes, the mechanism of juvenile delinquency was launched by
the shortcomings of family education, with juveniles coming to the wrongful conduct
under direct influence or with the participation of parents.
