attention and observation (professional observation, ability to keep attention for a long
time in spite of exhausting and external stimuli); a special memory of the behavior and

In our opinion, the biggest problem is that among the applicants who are studying
according to the reserve officers training program, two-fifths are not ready to engage
in further military-fighting activities. This also appears the practical problem of
research. The scientific-pedagogical problem will appear in the absence of scientific
works aimed at solving the mentioned practical problem.
The analysis of recent researches and publications, which initiated the solution of
this problem and on which the author relies. In order to verify the existence or absence
of a scientific and pedagogical problem, we analyzed the thesises of the scientific
novelty of the dissertation in the direction of research.
According to the results of the dissertation analysis, the absence of scientific
papers devoted to solving the practical problem of forming the future reserve officers
readiness for military service activities was revealed. Complex researches devoted to
the preparation of future reserve officers were carried out by such scientists as O.
Beznosiuk and Zorii Ya.B., dessertations devoted to the formation of the readiness of
future officers for professional activity by A.V. Balendr, O. D. Bohdaniuk, S. O.
Kubitskyi, L.O.Matokhniuk, S.A. Mul, M.P. Nedbai, I.V. Platonov, E.M. Syvokhop,
A. S. Sitsinsky, A.O.Starchuk, V. L. Ulich , in particular the dissertation on
psychological readiness of servicemen for military service by N. E. Penkova. In most
of the above-mentioned studies, the concept-categorical apparatus, principles, forms
and methods, pedagogical conditions for the formation of future officers' readiness,
determination of their criteria, indicators and levels of readiness were considered.
Analyzing scientific works, we come to the conclusion that such a direction of research
as the state of preparedness of future reserve officers for service-combat activity is paid
not enough attention.
The essence and structure of the readiness of future reserve officers for
