to serve in NGU. 4% of respondents are going to work for law enforcement agencies -
the military prosecutor's office, the national police. More detailed information on this
issue is shown in Figure 5.

The second part of the questionnaire is aimed on studying the motives of
educational activity of education applicants (according to B. Pashniev method) [12].
This part of the questionnaire makes it possible, by the method of dual elections, to
study the attitudes of the education providers to the eight main motives of educational
activity and to identify the motives that are preferred. The survey results are shown in
Figure 6.
It should be noted here that the data do not coincide with the answers to the second
question of questionnaire, "What motive influenced the positive decision regarding the
reserve officers training?" (See Figure 2). The main motive of the majority of
respondents, was material well-being (45% of respondents of NANGU and 43% of
respondents of NAU). In 28% of cases the main motive was cognitive or receiving
information. And only 12% of the respondents showed the main motive – as the
socially oriented motive of duty and responsibility.
Consequently, a significant part of the applicants trained in the program of
training reserve officers are not ready to engage in service-combat activities in the
future. The results of the pilot study suggest that the components of such readiness are:
motivational, functional and emotional-volitional; and the effectiveness of its
