- Increasing social and economic segregation of society;
- Growth in the need for social assistance programs for the poor;
- reducing the competitiveness of the country and individual workers,
respectively, in the global economic market and the labor market;
- decreasing citizens quality of life;
- lowering the level of health and social expectations of citizens;
- reduction the level of citizens participation in public life and level of thir
responsibility for it;
- raising the level of criminogenicity in society [24].
CONCLUSION
So, from our point of view the impact of globalization on education is due to the
following factors:
- the transfer generally to the social sphere and to education a particular neo-
liberal ideology (from the Latin Liberalis "free", as the term "French néo-liberalisme",
first used by French economist B. Laverne in 1938), characteristic of the global
economy;
- development of scientific progress (SP) and information and communication
technologies (ICTs), which objectively determine the possibility of integration
processes in educational systems at the regional and global levels;
- the willing of the world community to form in nowadays conditions new global
values - the values of universal culture, where the leading ones should be not the power
of strong and rich, but humanism, tolerance, respect for representatives of other
cultures, nations, races, religions, the propensity to cooperate with them, to the mutual
enrichment of cultures;
- Westernization of spiritual values associated with the dominant position of
western civilization in the economic, scientific, technical and political life of mankind.
All these abovementioned factors are quite controversial as well as the phenomenon of
globalization.
