time, the local populations were more heterogeneous than the varieties of vigna.
The eighth section “METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY
AND
DETERMINATION
OF
THE
SPECIES
CONDITION
OF
THE
ENTOMOLOGICAL DIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL LANDSCAPES OF THE
FOREST-STEPPE UKRAINE”. Under the existing powerful entomological school, a
thorough systematization of the species diversity of insects of Ukraine has not yet been
carried out, which makes it difficult to determine the condition of agrarian biodiversity
for the environmental justification of the measures envisaged by the UN Convention.
In our opinion, an estimation of the entomofauna of agrolandscapes is possible on the
example of the representative sample, which is represented by constant and dominant
species according to entomological registries created in the past century. In order to
optimally summarize representative samples in the process of analytical research, it is
suggested to group the known entomofauna of agrolandscapes into basic life forms,
each of which requires adequate methods of counting the number due to the
peculiarities of the ecology of each grouping. According to the results of the conducted
analytical researches, registers of dominant and constant types of insects of the
agrolandscapes of the forest-steppe of Ukraine were compiled for life forms of
"geophils" (geobionts, herpetobionts) and phytophiles (hortobionts, dendrobionts).
The ninth section “TO THE ISSUE OF THE CULTURAL AMARANTH
ENTOMOCENOSIS FORMATION”. The paper deals with the cultural amaranth
entomofauna formation in different regions of cultivation. The data on the species
composition of amaranth insects in Central and South America, in Africa, in India and
in Europe have been analyzed, general patterns of harmful entomofauna formation
have been revealed. The research of amaranth entomocomplex in the Eastern Forest-
steppe of Ukraine show, that over 200 insect species are associated with this crop. They
include phytophagous insects, which are the pests of amaranth: Lixus subtilis Boh.,
Aphis fabae Scop., Lygus pratensis L., L. rugulipennis Popp., Scotia segetum Schiff.,
Chlorita sp., Neoaliturus fenestratus H.-Sch., Agallia venosa Four. as well as their
entomophags and anthophilous insects. The role of amaranth in increasing the
biodiversity of insects in the field crop rotations of Ukraine has been proved.
The tenth section “FORMATION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE FROM
MODEL
SOLUTIONS.
THEORETICAL
AND
EXPERIMENTAL
INVESTIGATIONS”. Kinetics of CaCO
3
crystallization in calcium hydrocarbonate
system (CHCS) at pH<10 is studied. To describe the processes the quasiequilibrium
and dynamic models are used. It has been shown that in quasiequilibrium
approximation CHCS is completely described by two parameters - concentration of
dissolved CO
2
and pH. Other parameters and their change in time can be calculated by
these two parameters. Calculations are compared to data of pCa

, pCO

, pCO

and pH
measurements. It has been shown that transitive processes are incorrectively reflected
