OPTIMIZATION OF IRRIGATION NORMS AND OPERATIVE
MANAGEMENT OF IRRIGATION WITH PAID WATER USE
Introduction. The transition to market relations requires the improvement of
existing ones and the creation on their basis of new technologies for optimizing water
use, which should ensure not only high yields but also the efficient use of land and
water resources. At the same time, it is necessary to comply with environmental
requirements – to minimize anthropogenic impact on the environment, to prevent the
development of flooding and salinization of land.
State programs and departmental documents are also aimed at the need for
economical and efficient irrigation, the introduction of normalized water use. So, in the
current National Program for Water Resources Development, the purpose of which is
"... to implement a state policy aimed at preventing human-induced environmental
impact, ... preventing the harmful effects of water and eliminating its consequences,"
based on the projected estimates of the use of water for irrigation agriculture is set
water-saving irrigation regimes.
On the basis of literary sources, the functioning of irrigated agriculture in Ukraine
is analyzed, the main ecological and economic problems of its development and ways
of their solution are determined [1].
As is well known, water management technologies are based on internal and
system water management plans, which are devoted to O.M. Kostyakova,
