ecological species, was carried out. The genetic diversity and plasticity of the Vigna
Savi taxa found at the morphological level is associated with a variety of eco-
geographical origins and an existing phenomenon of introgression which reveals the
high adaptive potential of the genotypes in the new climatic conditions for them and
opens the prospect of obtaining new forms with valuable features.
Thus, the characteristic of the morphological variability of the source material is
an important stage in the selection of crops, since it allows to evaluate the genetic
potential of the selected forms, promotes the efficient use of genetic resources,
determines the direction and methods of the breeder's work.
Materials and methods of research. The starting material for the research was
the collection of 20 samples of different ecological and geographical origin from the
collection of the National Center for Genetic Resources of Plants of Ukraine that are
represented by 5 species (Table 1).

The field studies were conducted in accordance with the “Methodology for
Studying the Collection of Leguminous Crops” [4]. The precursor is the black steam.
The placing sites is standard in 3 repetitions. The total area of the site was 1.35 m
