One should also consider the fact that during this period there is the highest
probability of the poultry disease, therefore, antibiotics are used with a prophylactic
purpose to improve the productivity of the bird, in order to avoid disease and decrease
in growth and development. After 14 days of chickens’ life, they use a therapeutic
antibiotic therapy, which coincides with the completion of vaccination with live
antiviral vaccines. The use of antibiotics is aimed at reducing the negative effects of
mycoplasmas, pasteurella, Haemophilus influenzae.
On the 28th day of the experiment, we used antibiotics repeatedly with a
prophylactic purpose and weighed broiler chickens. The live weight of the bird of the
first experimental group (pharmazin) was by 16,1% higher than the weight of the
chickens of the first control group; and the body weight of broiler chickens of the
second experimental group (tilotsiklinvet) was by 13,7% higher than the poultry weight
in the second control group. Increase in a body weight of broiler chickens in the first
and second experimental groups is significantly higher compared to the control groups
(р≤0,001). At the same time, the average daily gain of broiler chickens of the first
experimental group exceeded the gain of the bird from the first control group by 20,4%.
The average daily gain of the poultry from the second experimental group was by
17,0% higher compared to the second control group.
Similar changes were found on the 38th day of the experiment. The average live
weight of the bird of the first experimental group was by 9,7% higher than that of the
first control group, and the body weight of the broiler chickens of the second
