internal organs was performed. A special attention was paid to the liver (color, size,
consistency), spleen, kidneys, heart, lungs, stomach and intestine with cloaca, ovary
and oviduct, serous membranes of the lumbar cavity, bursa of Fabricius, and if
necessary – they cut them.
Veterinary and sanitary examination of the broiler chickens slaughter products
showed that no visible changes were detected after the pharmazin and tilotsiklinvet
usage. The weight of semi-dressed and dressed bird carcasses of experimental groups
was higher than the one in control groups. The surface of the broiler chickens’ carcasses
of control and experimental groups is dry, of a whitish-yellowcolor with a pink tinge.
Appearance and color of the beak is glossy; mucous membrane of the oral cavity –
shiny, pale pink, slightly moistened; eyeball – convex, cornea - shiny. The
subcutaneous fat of a pale yellow color is localized in the lower abdominal area and
was in the form of a discontinuous stripe on the back (the area of the lumbar-sacrum
section). Comb of the sternum is weak, and the breast has a rounded shape; the serous
membrane of the lumbar cavity is moist and shiny. The muscles on the cut are slightly
damp, pale pink, dense, elastic, the fossa was formed after finger was flickered, and
quickly aligned. The smell of carcasses is specific to the fresh meat of broiler chickens;
broth is transparent, aromatic.
Indicators of slaughter yield of carcasses and the mass of the edible internal
organs of broiler chickens in the case of the pharmazin and tilotsiklinvet use. For
a more detailed study of the influence of pharmazin and tilotsiklinvet on the body of
broiler chickens, the slaughter yield of carcasses was analyzed (Tables 3, 4).
The data in Tables 3, 4 show a significant (р≤0,001, р≤0,01, р≤0,05) increase in
alive weight before a slaughter, the weight of semi-dressed and dressed carcasses in
experimental groups, compared to controls at the beginning and at the end of the
withdrawal period.
