The angle of each leg (marked as θ), which was obtained by the connection of
points on the chart is essentially the instant speed of the procedure (in our case speed
of the purchase of a new products). The speed is defined as the inverse tangent obtained
in the previous step. Results of the angular coefficient and angle values calculation are
presented in table 2 and shown on the charts (Fig. 9 and Fig. 10). In addition, our
observations indicate that the value of angle from 0 to 100 can also be interpreted as a
share of the software structure that a new product can get at each point in time. Based
on these considerations, the maximum value in the Accumulated sharecolumn was
normalized for cases when resources for upgrade were more than actually required (θ>
100). This limit corresponds to the typical behavior of a buyer who stops of shopping
in reaching saturation point.
