with fire- and explosion-dangerous premises. The observation is allowed with the help
of cameras of a fire-preventing type.
It’s necessary to foresee the automatic control of a composition of mixtures in the
flow. If it’s impossible to establish it, the selection of samples is carried out with
hermetic samplers.
The connecting gas-distributing system of the reservoir park is provided. With
this purpose in the lower part of pipelines of gas-binding, drainage devices for catching
alcohol vapours, their condensation and return to the system, are mounted.
For productions with the continuous process of the apparatus section of the
workshops of distilling the cognac alcohols and utilization of secondary products of
wine making, home-brewed beer rectifying departments, the volume of discharging
reservoirs mustn’t excess two-day production of alcohol.
Outer technological units are located from one side of the blind wall of the
workshop building. Placing of window and door openings in the wall wither explosion
– dangerous zone is not allowed. The width of open units must be not more than 20 m.
Pouring-out and pouring-in devices for IL must be closed, hoseless they must look
like joint pipes and telescopic devices. Their construction, together with collectors,
must provide the possibility of their emptying from liquid residues in case of an
emergency situation. The accessories are foreseen with remote control at the distance
not more than 50 m and not closer than 15 m to the axis of the railway gauge with
pouring-out and pouring-in device. In case of a single device the dampers can be with
a hand control. Disconnecting dampers can be used on the technological pipelines as
emergency ones.
Every reservoir for storage of the ethyl alcohol is equipped with accessories (a
breathing valve, a fire safety valve, a bleeding valve on the pipeline, a locking bar, the
system of emergency pouring out etc.) and pipe connection unions
– alcohol “entrance” – the pipe doesn’t reach the bottom by 0,05 m;
– alcohol “exit” – side, the distance from the bottom is not less than 0,2 m;
– for level controls;
– for a measuring hatch;
– for delivering water with the aim of dilution of alcohol during the fire;
– “cleaning” – in the bottom for full emptying or emergency pouring out.
For observing the level of HIL, floating units of the level or automatic signaling
devices of an explosion-preventive type are set up in reservoirs. Installation of
indicating windows and try cocks is not allowed. Glass parts of the units of HIL level
in the measurers for reception and sending are protected from metallic damages.
