The apparatuses which work without excessive pressure, but contain HIL, are

and higher. The apparatuses which work under
the pressure less than 0,07 MPa, but contain HIL, are calculated taking into account
the pneumatic testing of them for tightness with pressure which exceeds the working
pressure not less than 0,03 MPa.
The collectors and measuring devices of alcohol and alcoholic products must have
hermetic hatches, connect with atmosphere with the help of breathing pipes, equipped
with breathing and fire-preventive valves. Breathing pipes are led out beyond the
premises. The height of exhaust standpipes from safety valves is not less than 6 m from
the ground level and by 2,0 m higher than the highest point of a workshop building or
the platform of an open unit with radius of 15 m. The throat of the exhaust standpipes
is protected against atmospheric precipitation.
The pipeline of blowing-out into the atmosphere is located at the distance not less
than 10 m horizontally and 6 m vertically from reception devices of generally
interchanging ventilation systems.
Between capacitive equipment and a safety valve there mustn’t be a clamping
device.
Home-brewed beer-rectified columns are equipped with the means of control and
automatic regulation of the level and temperature of the liquid.
For transfer of HIL, hermetic gasketless and diaphragm pumps with screened
electromotors. Are used in case of applying gasket pumps, they must have butt-ending
consolidation or some other constructive decisions.
Pumps for transfer of HIL are equipped with blocking devices in case of breaking
normal conditions of passing of the technological processes. For operating the pumps,
their distant turning off is foreseen. Turned-off devices are located outside the highly-
explosive area in accessible places.
Transfer of HIL by the method of “re-pressing” is carried out with the help of
inert gases.
For transporting HIL weldless cold-strained and hot-strained pipes are used. Glass
hoists are not allowed to use. The joints of the pipelines must be mostly welded. Flange
and pipe connection and butt-ending joints must be foreseen only in the places of
setting the fittings and attaching to the equipment or for the pipelines, which are
disassembled from time to time for cleaning or changing the part, destroyed by
corrosion.
Locking fittings and regulating ones must be easily accessible for servicing. It the
fittings are placed at the height of 1,8 m, special stairs and platforms are foreseen. It
the fittings are often used, they are placed not higher than 1,6 m from the level of the
