for cooling the ground reservoirs during 3 hours and diluting of alcohol in a reservoir,
which is on fire, to 70 % concentration are included into the calculation of water
expenses for fire extinguishing.
For the premises of A and B categories, reserved fire-prevention funds of water
in fire reservoirs are renewed after the fire, not later than 24 hours. Fire reservoirs and
their equipment are protected against water freezing.
In case of impossibility of water intake from the fire reservoir, accepting (wet)
wells with volume not less than 3 m
3
, connected with fire water storage pipeline, the
diameter of which is not less than 0,2 m, are foreseen. In front of the accepting well,
on the connecting pipeline, it is necessary to locate the shutter with, leading under the
cover, steering wheel in a separate well.
Fire hydrants, “wet” wells of fire reservoirs, pumping stations of fire-prevention
water supply are located not closer than 40 m from ground reservoirs for alcohol and
not closer than 10 m from the buildings of A and B categories.
Fire-prevention water supply is carried out through fire hydrants, located on the
ring system of the connected fire-prevention and economic water-supply at the distance
not more than 130 m from each other.
All reservoirs for storage of ethyl alcohol must be equipped:
– with stationary system of irrigation for cooling the roof and the walls of the
reservoirs during the fire;
– with the system of water delivery into reservoirs for diluting the alcohol during
the fire.
Cooling of the roof and walls of the reservoirs with alcohol during the fire is
carried out by slotted sector sprinklers, mounted on the ring from steel pipes with
diameter not less than 75 mm. The intensity of irrigation is 0,5 l/s per one metre of the
reservoirs perimeter.
When locating wine-making enterprises at the distance of 200 m from natural
reservoirs with guaranteed supply and level of water, the approaches with hard
surfacing, grounds of 1212 m size and piers for water intake by a fire vehicle at any
season of the year, are made. In this case fire reservoirs are not built.
Water supply for cooling and extinguishing of ground reservoirs of general
capacity up to 400 m
2
at the enterprises, which are located beyond the limits of
populated areas, is carried out from fire reservoirs. The amount of reservoirs must be
not less than 2 with their calculated capacity, but not less than 100 m
3
. The distance
from fire reservoirs to the enterprise is not more than 150 m.
For preventing from getting into sewerage and spreading of HIL in it, sewer
discharges in the technological apparatuses must have flange joints on the pipelines for
