World experience suggests the true truth: a farmer, once spending on insurer
services, does not remain in the event of force majeure, the risk of which is extremely
high in the field of agribusiness.
CONCLUSION
Risks are gaining in popularity among Ukrainian agrarians,
The production of organic products in Ukraine today is an extremely relevant and
promising area of socio-economic development of the country, reflected in various
agrarian sector development programs.
From an economic point of view, organic farming is currently only a small niche
in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. However, as an engine of innovation, it can make
a significant impact. World experience shows that the introduction of environmentally
friendly technologies into agricultural production will increase its profitability and
competitiveness, reduce production costs of enterprises, create a basis for
environmentally sound economic development, additional workplaces in rural areas
and new prospects for small and medium-sized farms. It will help raise the standard of
living and health of the population, to move to a scientifically grounded system of land
use, etc.
The participation of small and medium agribusiness in mass exports will be
possible only with the creation of clusters and the development of service agricultural
cooperatives, which will enable the establishment of processing enterprises, logistics
centers, and modern storage facilities.
In the context of deepening of European integration processes, the priority tasks
of agrarian policy are to improve the legal framework for the regulation of organic
production, circulation and labeling of organic products, the formation of a proper
system of inspection and control.
Unlike world trends in organic livestock production, domestic production remains
insignificant due to the investment unattractiveness of Ukrainian agriculture and the
complexity of certification of organic production in this area of specialization. In the
future, it will be necessary to analyze the transition of domestic agro enterprises to
organic production and to substantiate their level of break-even in the conditions of the
crisis and increased market competition.
Insurance of agrarian risks, especially in the production of organic products, is
difficult and costly. Therefore, in none of these countries, this type of insurance does
not develop without state support, in some cases it accounts for 90% of insurance
premiums. For organic production, you need insurance against both weather and the
prices and revenues of agricultural producers. To become an influential instrument of
state policy in the agricultural sector, insurance of agricultural products with state
support should be effective, transparent, reliable and use the trust of all participants.
