management to software to spread courses over the Internet and offer opportunities for
collaborative work on the network. Creating and maintaining integrated learning
content requires significant initial and ongoing investment in human labor. Effective
translation into other languages and cultural contexts requires even greater investment
from trained staff. [4]
Internet-based learning management systems include Canvas, Blackboard Inc.
and Moodle. These types of LMS allow teachers to start the tutorial partially or
completely online, asynchronously or synchronously. Blackboard can be used for K-
12 education, higher education, business and government co-operation. Moodle is a
freeware open source code management system that provides mixed learning
opportunities, as well as a platform for distance learning. Unlike the previous solution,
Eliademy is a freeware software product.
Automated evaluation (electronic score, component of some LMS) ranges from
automated multiple-choice tests to more complex systems. In some systems, feedback
may be focused on specific student errors or the computer may issue a student with a
series of questions adapting to what the student knows or does not know. Together with
the student's assessment, the teacher and student receive a list of questions to be
researched. Subsequently, a re-evaluation is carried out, which includes a unique set of
questions according to the list of recently studied material.
Electronic productivity support systems (EPSS) are "systems based on computers
that increase productivity by providing on-the-job access to integrated information,
guidance and learning experience." They are also defined as "an integrated e-
environment that is easily accessible to each employee." and structured to provide
immediate, personalized on-line access to the full range of information, software,
management, tips and help, data, images, tools, and evaluation systems and monitor
tracking to ensure the performance of work with minimal support and interference from
others. "
Application. Means of electronic education are used in many spheres of human
activity. An example is the pre-school learning through mobile devices and resources
(which are already used globally, but not yet sufficiently appreciated by specialists).
A very good example is the K-12 public school system, which is common in the
United States. In a number of other countries, school curriculum, in addition to
traditional class attendance, supports the ability to connect remotely from any place
where there is a satisfactory coverage of the Internet. There are several states that use
virtual school platforms for e-learning throughout the country, and their number
continues to grow.
E-learning is increasingly being used by schoolchildren who may not want to be
in traditional brick schools because of severe allergies or other medical problems, fear
of school violence and school bullying. Online schools have created shelter for students
