According to the calculations, we conclude that the return on non-current assets
depends on the level of economy investment. Thus, comparing 2016 with 2012, we see
that an increase above the indicated factor of 0,61 has led to an increase in the resultant
attribute - the efficiency of the use of non-current assets by 0,14. A similar pattern is
also observed in a model that includes indicators for 2012 and 2015.
CONCLUSION
Khmelnytskyi region has 3% of the population of Ukraine. But despite this, it
produces a significant share of some types of products in the context of the Ukrainian
market. For example, the research area produces 78% of women's and girls' suits and
sets (except for knitwear), more than a quarter of the steel industry, about 20% of
trailers and semitrailers for transportation of goods, more than 10% of sugar of white
crystalline beet, etc.
The size of capital investment in the analyzed region is only 2.5% of the total
investment of Ukraine. In absolute measurements, their dynamic range grew and in
2016 it amounted to 9123.3 million UAH.
The largest are investments in residential buildings (over 3.6 billion UAH),
machinery, equipment and inventory (2.7 billion UAH).
Sources of investment of Khmelnytskyi region were mainly the own funds of
enterprises and organizations for their improvement, renewal and expansion, and the
population for housing construction. They took, in the total structure of sources of
financing, in 2016, respectively, 43.9 and 36.4%.
By types of economic activity, capital investments of Khmelnytskyi region were
distributed as follows: in the first place, it is investment in industry, in the second place-
in construction, and in the third - in agriculture. This is if you consider the average
value of the dynamic year. In the reporting year, the picture with places slightly
changed. In the second place is agriculture with a specific weight of investment of
20.2% of the total, in the third place is construction (12.7%) and in the first is industry
with 22.4%.
Non-current assets as an object of capital investments in the research area for the
analyzed period increased by 41.5%, and their share in the structure of assets decreased
from 50.1% in 2012 to 11.4% in 2016. The latter is explained by qualitative updating
of non-current assets without expanding their quantitative aspect. As a result, the ratio
between non-current and current assets has changed significantly. It was 1 in 2012 and
7,77 in 2016, it grew almost 8 times.
The main reason for the decrease in the share of non-current assets in the structure
of Khmelnytskyi region's assets was significant changes in the structure of the assets
of agriculture, forestry and fisheries. These changes dominated over others as a result
