Conflicts, as well as any social contradictions, are a form of real social relations,
which reflect the interaction of individuals, the relations of social groups and
communities with differences, incompatibility of their needs, motives and roles. In
other words, any human activity generates conflict situations.
Social conflicts are a mutual and open struggle of social actors, which is
transformed under the influence of the inequality of opposing interests of
representatives of social groups. Thus, social conflicts characterize the side of social
contradiction and form the eternal struggle of opposites.
In this perspective, the unity of opposites acts as a condition for social conflict.
The struggle of opposites characterizes the moments of the formation, deployment,
completion of social contradiction, so the social conflict exists to varying degrees at
each of these stages, and not only as a stage of deployment (aggravation) of social
contradiction. Mutual practical struggle exists in the form of ideological, political,
economic, military, physical actions, with the help of which conflicting subjects seek
to harm the subjects themselves and master the subject of conflict.
Instruments for diagnosing the welfare of the population. At present, the
development of a system of indicators of welfare of the population is of paramount
importance for an integrated multi-level analysis of the socio-economic development
of modern society. To this end, it is possible to apply two fundamentally important
approaches:
