The advantages of the BPM-system for document circulation are that there is the
possibility of implementing a natural link between strategic and operational budget
plans. In addition, an effective interaction of the BPM-system with the ABS-bank is
provided in terms of preparation and control of economic costs. It is provided accurate
and timely accounting of economic costs in the bank’s managerial reporting. Electronic
workflow allows to shorten the time it takes for the seller to pay.
Analyzing all the above, following conclusions can be reached about the essence
of BPM-solutions in terms of application in a credit institution:

- The concept of BPM is based on the principles of modeling, which includes the
process of identifying and describing the relationship of operational data with key
indicators;
- BPM-systems are intended for automation of strategic planning of business
development and support of operational management of business processes.
Based on the functionalities of the BPM solution, it can be stated that this
information system belongs to the systems of a new class and can serve as an effective
tool for increasing the competitiveness of a modern bank [7].
Consequently, two vectors of future banking development can be defined.
Principal functions of retail banks will not be different from ordinary ones. Banks will
continue to make payments, issue loans and place clients funds. However, the channels
of banking services delivery, lending and placement tools will be transformed.
According to the author's view, two scenarios of development for the bank of
future are possible. This is a digital-bank in its pure form and a bank-2-bank-platform.
Players have already appeared on the market, which adhere to these models. For
instance, today the following marketplaces are in development:
