ANALYSIS OF CONSUMERS OF THE FAMILY EDUCATION
MARKET IN THE CONTEXT OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS FORMATION
Introduction. Today, the family education market around the world has a steady
dynamic of active growth. It happens due to the fact that more and more parents choose
the "nomadic" lifestyle: travel, business trips, and out-of-office work facilitate the
transfer of children to homeschooling. But, realizing that without a traditional system
of attestation the child will not receive document of a state standard and will not be
able to go to a university or institute, parents are looking for an educational institution
that provides services for the recognition of children-homeschoolers. Potential
consumers become more knowledgeable about choosing a school, but mostly due to
communication among themselves in social networks.
Home education is a special social institution of education that existed and exists
in parallel with the institutional (state, public) forms of education. Between these two
forms of education there are functional relationships of three types: parallel existence,
substitution and complementarity.
Analysis of literary sources on the problems of the development of the educational
market in the context of global integration processes allows us to establish the
following trends in their development:
the progressive introduction of open education into traditional educational
practice;
increase in the number of schools with distance learning;
provision of educational institutions (especially basic schools) with a qualitative
relevant educational and methodological base;
improvement of digital content sharing, education management and quality
control systems;
providing students with access to educational materials for open education;
improving the quality of education and educational services;
ensuring constant updating of teaching aids and technologies in accordance with
the demands of the listeners.
Nowadays, skills that will be in demand in future are increasingly discussed in the
world. Good examples of them are critical thinking, complex multilevel problem
solving, creativity, customer orientation, flexibility of mind and others. The leadership
qualities of the person are very important on this list. Most often they are considered
as the ability to organize and lead people, risk aversion, stress tolerance, self-
