substantiates the necessity of formulating qualitatively new approaches to the
development of both theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations for
the development of credit unions in Ukraine, since they can create a financial basis for
effective satisfaction of the needs of the population and business entities, promote
stabilization of the socio-economic situation of the state and stimulate social and labor
mobility of Ukrainian society. The advantages of credit unions are determined, in
comparison with other participants of the market of non-bank financial services. The
historical preconditions of the formation of credit unions in the world and Ukraine are
considered, their place among other financial institutions is clarified. The indicators of
activity of Ukrainian credit unions are monitored, problematic aspects are highlighted.
The ways of further development of credit unions are formulated. The results of
SWOT-analysis of the influence of Ukrainian credit unions on the activation of social
and labor mobility in Ukrainian society are highlighted.
The twentieth section “INNOVATION ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE: PROBLEMS,
ACHIEVEMENTS AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT”. The article is devoted to
problems of innovative activity in Ukraine. The current state of innovations is
analyzed, the main problems and the prospects of development of innovation sector of
economy are highlighted. The main parameters of the innovation sphere are considered
- the share of innovative enterprises and the amount of financing of innovation activity
and scientific research. Also, the main sources of innovation financing are considered.
The prospects for using foreign investments, venture business and leasing schemes for
financing innovations are highlighted. The most perspective sectors for Ukrainian
business are selected. The gaps in the state regulation of innovation activity are noted:
the lack of tax initiatives, the completeness of the legislative framework, the creation
of an information infrastructure for interactions between the business sector, the
science and financial sector. Limited public and financial sector resources, absence of
tax iniciatives explain the current absence of financial mechanisms to encourage the
development of innovative enterprises.
The twenty first section “MODELING OF THE «GREEN» ECONOMY IN
UKRAINE: CONCEPTUAL BASICS AND EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS”. Within the
last few years significant transformation changes in the direction of «green» growth in
the Ukrainian economy on the background of a significant reduction in consumption
and import of natural gas have been observed. The relevance of the research stems from
the lack of conceptual clarity concerning mechanisms of the manageable
transformational changes in the economy and forming an effective environment for
further "green" growth. The system-structural method is applied for developing
conceptual basics of "green" economic model in Ukraine. This study is identifies
factors that determine the development of Ukraine. It is shown that many indicators
that are applicable worldwide are insufficient to make managerial decisions at the
