yield of cows kept in dairy complexes was 1043 kg in breeds. In this case, a decrease
in the indicator of the duration of economic use of cows in farms with implemented
innovative technological solutions. On average, by breeding stock of all investigated
breeds, the length of economic use of cows kept by traditional technology was 3.33
lactation, and milk complexes - 2.92 lactations. The reduction in the length of use of
cows with an increase in the level of mechanization and the change in their
maintenance technology was 0.41 lactation (125 days). Per one cow, 3013.5 kg of milk
was lost, or almost UAH 16.5 thousand net income.

results of dairy cattle recording" for 2016 (243 breeding stock-rearing farm of Ukraine)
Under different conditions of use, the proportion of full-eyed cows that are cleared
from the herd significantly changes. In our studies, the proportion of cows dropped
during 2016 from farms with an increased level of maintenance technologies was
42.7%. Instead, on farms with traditional technology, this figure was 26.9%. The
difference was 15.8 p.p. (Table 7). The increase in the proportion of discarded cows in
