Another characteristic feature of dairy complexes is the high level of harvesting 

technology, preparation and distribution of feed and organization of feeding them. The 
result is a sharp decrease in the proportion of first-borns that left the herd as a result of 
diseases of the digestive system, to 4.3%, or by 6.6 percentage points less compared to 
outdated (traditional) technology. 

The economic efficiency of the operation of cows for different technologies of 

their content and use is determined on the data of 19 breeding stock-rearing farms. 
Milk-yeild per cow kept in dairy complexes exceeded this indicator of farms with 
traditional technology by 634 kg, or 11.2% (Table 9).
