CREATIVITY IMPERATIVE FOR GLOBAL MANAGEMENT
Introduction. Implementation of the creative economy concept as a XXI century
phenomenon provides new opportunities for economic growth, structural renewal and
modernization, materialization of creative potential of corporation, ensures their
leadership in the most profitable and promising segments of the global market.
The theoretical background for formation of creative industries, cities and
economies in the context of innovation progress are researched in the fundamental
works of foreign and domestic scholars L. Antonyuk, O. Doroshenko, J. O’Connor,
O. Lukyanenko, O. Melvyl, O. Poruchnyk, Ye. Savelyev, Ya. Stolyarchuk, D. Trosby,
R. Florida, D. Hezmondalsh, J. Hawkins, Yu. Shahid and many others.
Modern scientific researches demonstrate that the tendency of forming a modern
management paradigm, where creativity is not only necessary, but also a decisive
feature of business leadership, is becoming increasingly apparent. Currently, the
methodology of personal leadership based on the disclosure and fulfillment of creative
potential of managers is evolving extensively. In a practical context, we note that the
true leaders of global business have features of creativity a priori. This is empirically
proven by the practice of world top management (B. Gates, E. Grove, S. Jobs, R. Croc,
K. Matsushita, A. Morita, K. Olsen, D. Packard, J.K. Penny, J. Soros, J. Welch,
S. Volton, G. Ford, S. Honda, W. Huellet and other global innovators in various sectors
and fields of activity). However, framework determination of the “creative
management” concept, disclosure of its inward nature and practical efficiency in the
global business remain relevant.
Human Factor of Global Management Formation. In today’s global business,
the high competitive status of corporations is secured by innovation and mobility along
with the ability to respond adequately to the global challenges and trends of external
and internal organizational change rather than scale and geography of their activities.
The modern management paradigm (Table 1) is formed under the system of
scientific and technological, economic, sociocultural factors, not least of which, in the
opinion of scholars are: global informatization, formation of the global labor market,
cross-cultural unification [14].
The most perceptible and meaningful trends and processes against this
background are as follows:
