It is most characteristic of corporations that form their assets and operate in the
sectors of the “new economy”. However, in our opinion, this approach can be considered
universal in the innovative business environment, which depends little on its sphere.
Furthermore, high professional abilities (understanding of business, which is
primarily provided by MBA programs, entrepreneurial skills, communication skills,
ability to solve non-standard problems, particularly in crisis situations, etc.) and
appropriate professional experience (as a rule, 5-10 years of successful careers in
management or marketing, primarily international) remain essential for competitive
managers.
Creativity Aspect for Global Management. There are several known authors’
definitions of creativity, in particular, T. M. Amabile (interaction of competence, i.e.
knowledge and skills of an employee in the field of his activity, ability to creative
thinking and being flexible and inventive in problem solving and motivation as
internal interest in extraordinary problem solving) [3]; R. Werderber and
K. Werderber, J. Gilford and E. P. Torrens (ability of a person to generate new or
original ideas and points of view) [8, 10, 26, 27]; A. Karpov (one of the main abilities
of the personality reflected in the possibility of generating new, original ideas and
methods of performing tasks); I. A. Maksymtsev (ability of the employee to generate
significant innovations in any form that must be effective, easily distributed and used
publicly) [20]; Ch. Landry (embodiment of what nobody else has done through
“intention – invention – application”) [15] and others.
In our opinion, creativity should be interpreted as the ability of a competent,
creative thinking, motivated employee to generate original, productive, easily
disseminated and socially useful ideas in the form of significant innovations, which
gives the systemic result in the form of new tangible and intangible assets. At the
micro level, it provides proper motivation of business to innovations through creative
thinking and behavior, and at the macro level it is manifested in growth of industrial
and social significance of creative industries, increase in the share of the population
employed in the creative sector of economy.
The fundamentally important function of creativity is that it enables integration
of human, structural, social and cultural capital of organizations and countries and
ensures their competitive success and progress.
In the special studies, the scholars distinguish actively managed, controlled,
uncontrolled sociopsychological, individual and situational creativity.
Creativity of an individual can be fulfilled in creative activity of the collective
(organization) or remain uncalled. However, creative activity develops individualism,
directs energy, creative potential of a person to renew and improve the life of society
as a whole. It is obvious that under current conditions, innovative (creative) ideas are
no longer the result of individual creative activity, but become predominantly
