specificity of the study and the polarity of the selected indicators, we consider it 
appropriate to exclude subjective interference, so we turn to the statistical method. 

 

According to the results of the application of the method of the main 

components, as well as the software of Statistica, we conclude that the following 
indicators have the greatest impact on the formation of investment safety in Ukraine: 
the share of investments in intangible assets to GDP, % (0,15431),  the share of the 
established amount of legalized funds and property to GDP, % (0,148516); share of 
pseudo investment in foreign direct investment,  % (0,149309). 

The results obtained at this stage partially confirm the position of the Keynesian 

investment theory that foreign investment may destabilize the mechanism of self-
regulation of economic growth and impede the formation of a rational economic 
structure and the implementation of national priorities that require unconditional 
government intervention [1, p. 93-97]. Thus, the prevention and detection of facts of 
pseudo-investing taking into account foreign investments is the exclusive prerogative 
of the authorized subjects of the economic safety guarantee. 

It should be emphasized that most of the calculated indicators are in the reverse 

direction to the threshold values, which shows a vulnerability of Ukraine's investment 
safety to the implementation of diverse types of threats and disappointing perspectives 
on getting out of the crisis situation within the immediate time perspective. 

The integral index of investment safety within the established time interval was 

calculated according to the nonlinear method using the following formula:

 – normalized values of investment safety indicators; 

– their weight 

coefficients; 

– the number of indicators, which in our case is 9. 

Calculations of the integral index of Ukraine's investment safety for 2010-2017 

are shown in Fig. 4.
