3) the instability of the domestic currency in the context of the favourable 

conditions of lending and forecasting the expansion of production forces; 

 4) the ineffectiveness of the legal mechanism for protecting the rights of 

investors; 

5) the vulnerability of the economic system to the implementation of criminal 

intentions, in particular those whose manifestation is latent by nature;

violation of the rules of fair competition and freedom in entrepreneurial 

activity; 

7) lack of tangible assets, low level of attraction of intangible assets into 

investment process; 

8) slowing the development of the economy and its certain industries due to the 

critical influence of the oligarchic clans. 

Under such conditions, the dominant principles of the functioning and 

implementation of the investment security mechanism are: equality of rights of 
investors irrespective of their type, volumes and objects of investment; the need for 
constant review and improvement of the tools for counteracting the threats to 
investment safety, which is explained by close interconnections of economic spheres 
of different states and within the limits of crisis situations, the inevitable effect of the 
"domino principle"; investment harmony of subjects of all hierarchical levels for 
achieving economic equilibrium at micro, meso- and macro levels.
