7.  According to the results of the research on the quality, the organic oat flakes of 

Ukrainian producers of two brands - TM “Organic Country” (producer - Organic Life 
LLC) and TM “Ecorod Special” (producer - LLC Organic Original) have excellent 
quality on such organoleptic indicators as appearance, taste and smell, color and 
consistency. We used the method of profiling for a more accurate description of such 
indicators as taste and smell and more objective conclusions regarding the organoleptic 
properties of oat flakes. The tasters did not reveal unacceptable defects in taste and 
smell. The difference in the intensity of taste and aroma of experimental samples is 
probably related to the application of various manufacturing techniques. 

8.  The adoption of the Law “On Basic Principles and Requirements for Organic 

Production, Turnover and Marking of Organic Products” dated July 10, 2018 No. 2496-
VIII [7] will give an impetus to the sustainable development of organic production in 
Ukraine, increase the competitiveness of organic products and expand the external 
markets for its sales. In addition, this law is important for harmonizing national 
legislation with the European requirements for organic production.
