all over the world, namely: bitcoin technology; electronic devices; cybersecurity;
biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
It should be emphasized that it is important for investors, especially TNCs, to
adhere to investment planning for each year, as financial statements can be based on
predictions that aim to reduce risks and increase investment gains. And so for the
diversification of investment resources, TNCs invest in technological investments.
But some technologies are spreading too fast and even similar to “financial bubbles”
and are too risky, such as bitcoin and everything connected with it.
In 2017, the demand and value of one bitcoin was significant, which caused a
strong affinity among investors, but in 2018 as a result of actions of the Government
of the People's Republic of China, South Korea to curb the e-currency. For example,
in 2016 Lisk electronic platforms (LSK) attracted financial resources worth more than
5 million US dollars a month, in turn, Digix (DGD) received more than 5 million US
dollars in just 14 hours, First Blood (1SŦ) - more than 5 million US dollars less than in
5 minutes [9].
Also, electronic devices are an interesting type of investment, although return on
investment can only be obtained when the product first appears on the market when it
is new and advanced. Although some scientists call the market for electronic devices,
it is declining and does not bring long-term revenue, which is important when reducing
the impact of crisis factors on the operational activities of TNCs.
The main investment areas in the field of electronic devices are smart watches,
which are presented on the market by such TNCs as Garmin's Fenix Chronos and
Samsung's G2. To smart watches a lot of consumers have shown interest in everything
that is connected with the spread of a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and sports, such
as: swimming, golf, etc. It should also be noted that cheap fitness trackers such as
Xiaomi's have a significant market share.
Based on the fact that TNCs are trying to use information technology to the fullest,
then electronic media should be protected from attacks of hacker attacks, viruses and
spam. Thus, TNCs are beginning to invest in their own cyber security, so that there
were no abductions of confidential corporate data. In 2016, the acquisition of programs
and devices protecting the data of TNCs spent almost 10.6 billion US dollars with an
index of 13% increase annually. However, according to experts' forecasts, in the next
two years, we will see a deceleration of growth of up to 8% annually [10].
But on the other hand, the company Palo Alto Networks, which specializes in a
sophisticated data security system in 2016, has grown 4 times faster and more rapidly.
In turn, Check Point Software Technologies can provide dividends to its shareholders
over the next 13 years, starting in 2016.
For investors, in addition to cybersecurity, one way is to change its own
investment behaviour towards biotechnology, which in 2017 is one of the fastest
