of the economic system. The model of "green" economy in Ukraine should be based
on "green" value chains of goods and services to ensure environmentally focused
transformation of movement directions of material and energy flows in the sectoral
structure of the economy.

UNEP
Report
“Towards a
Green
Economy”

Economic development should occur on the basis of synergy which makes it
possible to use the linkages between the different sectors and obtain the benefits
in saving scarce resources.

M.S. Cato

"Green" economy is action-oriented and aimed at a better understanding of
people and their relationships, localization of economic processes and achieving
social equality.

R. Hakhnel

Achieving a more balanced economy requires focusing on collective or
collaborative consumption, collaborative procurement, greater sharing and
multi-use of resources by self-regulating communities.

E. Benson,
O. Greenfield

The efficiency of transition from excluded and marginalized communities in the
‘brown’ economy depends on inclusivity of communities in achieving goals
they need.

World
Economic
Forum

Circulating economy will provide information concerning production
technology of each product component and further directions of its use during
the life cycle.

L.G. Melnyk

Areas of "green" economy development should also include production of
environmentally sound goods (know-how, pollution control equipment, waste
utilization equipment, consulting etc.).

B.V.
Burkinsky

Transformational changes are to change the size, intensity and speed of inter-
element linkages, which determines the functional change of elements and a
new status of the system.

I.K.
Bystryakov

The feature of "green" economy is its innovativeness, which can be
implemented only in the creative environment.

I.B.
Dehtiariova

Advantages of the synergetic approach through adjusting inter-component
linkages towards improving the efficiency of environmental and economic
systems in the national context.

I.V. Burych

Forming of innovation projects’ portfolio should count of synergetic effects for
"green" growth of regional economy in national terms.

Inter-industry complexes in Ukraine, based on the stable directions of raw

materials and energy flows, include fuel and energy, construction and industry,
engineering, forestry, agroindustry and others. Setting environmentally sound inter-
sectoral linkages on the principles of the transition from fossil fuels to renewable
energy sources, recycling, resource saving and minimizing of environmental damage
can determine priority directions of reallocation of labor and capital. Great attention
should be paid to maintaining the environmental infrastructure of the economy
