profitability of sales activities and makes possible to respond adequately to changes in
the internal and external environment.
Provision of the efficiency of agrarian enterprises under market conditions is
possible by increasing the productivity of crops and livestock, restoring the specialized
production, reducing the costs of production and sales of products, improving the
system of sales, and, as a result, the level of merchantability and profitability of organic
products. Also, for agricultural enterprises, it is important to address such issues as
expanding the range and increasing the volume of organic production along with the
demand for this type of product on the market, improving the quality and
competitiveness of products, especially in the domestic market, improving the
economic relations between processing and marketing enterprises.
Enterprises with organic production in Ukraine can be united by creating service
cooperatives to promote and sell their products under the common trademark in retail
chains, specialized stores and public catering establishments, which may also be their
joint property.
In service cooperatives on the processing of organic products, producers will be
able to produce organic food with added value and sell them by various distribution
channels, including public or private food establishments, hospitals, schools, etc.
Consequently, the cooperation of agricultural enterprises with the aim of organizing
sales and processing of organic products is very important and progressive.
It should be noted that the implementation of the relevant integration strategies
for the development of organic agricultural enterprises in Ukraine is constrained by the
lack of development of the infrastructure of the organic agricultural food market, which
is the basis for providing the effective functioning of all components of the organic
sector.
Therefore, it is important to create conditions and effective mechanisms for the
development and efficient functioning of the market infrastructure for organic
agricultural products in case of the successful interaction of all its structural elements
and their development as a whole system.
Modern market conditions require changes in the management of marketing
distribution policies from organic producers to maintain the competitiveness of their
products and to shift from traditional channels to more advanced ones [9, p. 28]. In
order to optimize the existing distribution channels for agricultural enterprises, the
following forms of sales are predicted:
- more significant activity of producers in the wholesale markets of agricultural
products, which will provide the control over prices, quality of products, increase of
production efficiency and decrease of expenses;
- direct sale of ecological products of a particularly high quality on the principles
of exclusive distribution and with the involvement of specialized intermediaries;
- the use of vertically and horizontally integrated marketing systems in which the
members can cooperate on a short or permanent basis or create a separate business.
