viewer is required to use all his internal resources for creative imagination and to find
the original code in this complicated tectonic structure on the subconscious empirical
level.
Explication of linear rhythms and tonal transitions expresses its organic
involvement in shape-forming processes. The color palette of paintings is soft, not
tinted in color with contrasting colors and is based on the alignment of the luminous
and darkened, warm and cold case of the main color. Usually these are monochrome
compositions of tone transitions from red or green with a special aesthetics of sensory
perception. The artist deliberately avoids multicolored and contrasting combinations,
because, in his opinion, it "destroys" the internal structure of the work and violates the
deep links. In the works of Mykhailo Selezinka, the color is not related to the primary
forms of the objective world: first of all, it is the emotional background of the artist's
internal visions, his method of retransmission of "sensory tension."
Plastic melody of the rhythms of linear forms, their picturesque vibration, attracts
their intellectual game and aesthetic beauty. According to Wilhelm Worringer, a
German philosopher and historian of art, "The value and form of line lies in the value
of life they convey. They receive beauty only through our vital senses, which we
quietly project on them " [14, p. 249]. Dialectically reconsidered the substantive
"dilactiveness" of a pictorial background, does not become an aim for the artist. It`s
real purpose is the cognitive system of the recipient, his perception, representation, and
thinking. Activate the cognitive functions of the mind of the recipient, set up dialogue,
conversation, knowledge of the mysteries of the universe, a man - artist sees his
vocation in this, seeking answers to the eternal mysteries of the Being.
"The artist's duty," Vyacheslav Ivanov wrote, "is not to reproduce the world in
such a way that everyone sees it: on the contrary, he was given the opportunity to
surprise us" [9, p. 277], these words accept the artist's inner position, his desire to
simulate a new reality that combines philosophical reflections, formal experiments, and
sensual personal experiences.
CONCLUSION
The creativity of Mykhailo Selezinka lies in the space of intersection of the
intellectual and formal means of artistic creation. His artistic achievements - graphic,
painting, painting on glass, reflect a wide range of philosophical and creative
intentions. They actualize the life position of the artist, on the one hand, rugged on their
own experience - observation and analysis of the phenomena of human existence, and
on the other - the eternal wisdom of ancient and classical philosophy, a figurative
component of the spiritual and practical development of ancient mythology.
In the spiritual practices of the era, the artist first of all raises the problems of the
value of human existence, philosophical structures of space and time. Mykhailo
