materials channels, since, despite a significant reorientation in international trade over
the last five years from Russia to European countries, CIS still occupy a significant
share of trade (Fig. 1).

At present, the main partner countries of Ukraine are not the neighboring EU
countries, but the Russian Federation (Figure 2 and 3).

And the dependence from the Russian Federation on the provision of Ukraine to
this country services for the transit of raw materials to European countries suggests that
the partnership with the RF forms about a third of the Ukrainian economy's revenues
from the export of services (Figure 4), while import of services from the Russian
Federation is in 2016-2017 only 7.8-9.4% of the total import (for a sample, imports of
services from the USA amounted to 11.8-13.0% in 2016-2017).
