feelings of rivalry can lead to cases of hooliganism both from tourists and locals. Thus,
it should be borne in mind that, despite the fact that the tourist destination receives
great financial income from the tourism development, there may be various social and
cultural problems associated with the possible loss of cultural identity, the destruction
of traditions, norms and structures, violation of social stability in society. These
negative phenomens can also manifest themselves in the cities of Ukraine as they
develop mass tourism and increase the number of foreign and domestic tourists, and
that is discussed further in the article.
C. Socioecological problems associated with an increase of tourist waste volume
along with the growth of tourist streams capacity into cities. This rubbish is added to
their citywide volume and can create a serious environmental and social obstacle both
to the development of cities themselves and tourism there. This problem is detailed in
the article below on the example of the Ukrainian cities - the largest tourist centers.
The third kind of logistic model of sustainable tourism - the model of the
development of material and technical base can be illustrated by the example of the
city of Uman. This city has two of the most famous and popular tourist attractions - the
Sofiyivka Landscape Park and the Tsadik Nakhman Grave. With the first object there
are no problems in the sense of logistics (the park has such large area that the overload
of tourists is not recorded even now). The logistical problem arises with the second
object, because there is a tourist resource and a tourists flow of pilgrims-hassids, who
are getting more and more (2018 - 30 thousends) every year in Uman on the holiday of
the Jewish New Year (Rosh-Ashana). At the same time there is no adequate and
sufficient material and technical base (especially hotels, restaurants, dining rooms of
kosher type). That is why the inhabitants of Uman earn their money on hassids from
renting them appartments, selling souvenirs, fur hats and so on.
Logistics Strategy of Urban Tourism Sustainable Development: Ukraine’s
Experience. Tourism is now one of the most dynamic sectors of regions and cities
economy. The urgent problems in this regard include the task of ensuring the
sustainable development of tourism industry in cities. This is especially true for the
most popular destinations among tourists, i.e. metropolitan and historic cities, which
attract significant tourist streams. The latter means tourist load increasing on the
existing cities’ resource base of tourism, as well as on the whole urban economy,
population, development and nature. In this context the task of tourism sustainable
development in cities requires the consolidation of efforts of various scientific and
practical directions, among which the important place belongs to tourism and logistics
[1], that studies the flows phenomena in the tourism industry, highlighting the tourist
traffic (flow of tourists) as the main stream, and financial, informational, commodity,
personnel, material flows as servicing (additional) ones. The task of tourism logistics
in the context of travel industry sustainable development is to regulate the main flow
