FORMATION PROSPECTS OF THE AUTOMOTIVE CLUSTER IN
UKRAINE UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF ECONOMIC SPACE
GLOBALIZATION
Introduction. In a global network economy, the cluster is a basis for business
processes to integrate into modern production and logistics chains of added value
creation, creating global production networks based on vertically integrated business
structures. These structures typically include hybrid networks of manufacturing
enterprises and suppliers of raw materials, materials, components, equipment,
distributors and dealers, research centers and institutes that are connected within the
territorial principle and relations of industrial specialization and cooperation. In
globalization conditions of economy for the purpose to provide an offer of goods and
services at affordable prices, the allocation of production capacity in different countries
of the world is carried out on a choice criteria of low production costs. This is also
present in Ukraine, starting from common industry products to electronics, auto parts
and everyday goods. Value added and supply chains are expanding and evolving in
their development, customers and consumers are becoming increasingly demanding in
terms of goods and service quality at a low cost. Global economy changes lead to
changes in managerial decisions of production, consumption and sales
.
In modern
scientific and economic thought, the cluster business organization is one of the most
relevant and researched topics since its inception.
The questions of innovative development of mechanical engineering enterprises
based on clusters are studied by domestic and foreign scientists and practitioners. The
urgent issues of the development of a cluster model of enterprise mergers are explored
in the works of such scholars as M. Porter [1], N. Asaul [2,3], M. Voynarenko [4-6],
V. Heyets [7], S. Sokolenko [8], I. Gladiy [9], G.
Stratmann
[14] and others.
Despite
the absolute significance of the studies, the problem of identifying the prerequisites and
prospects of forming clusters in the automotive industry of Ukraine remains
insufficiently has and needs additional research.
Research results. The lack of high quality technology causes the main problem
in Ukrainian car-building industry. Old material and technical support do not enable
high level of labor productivity and production of low cost products. Absolute majority
of domestic industrial enterprises don't have sufficient amount of equipment, and the
present one is old. However, rapid development and activation of innovative business
