Corporation, with a full production cycle. The company is the main exporter of
automobiles in the CIS and foreign countries. Bogdan Corporation is the most modern
enterprise with full-scale production of passenger cars with a capacity of 120 thousand
- 150 thousand cars per year.
However, the best platform for a car-building cluster creation in Ukraine is the
company PJSC "Euro car" with 80 thousand cars per year production capacity (large-
capacity "SKD" compilation - 30 thousand cars, and the addition of "CKD" - 50
thousand cars per year). In 2015, the company's share in automotive industry in
Ukraine was 36%. [12] "Euro car" company has a great potential for further expansion
of its production. The plant is located next to Solomonovo Industrial Park on the border
with Slovakia and Hungary, which successfully uses the cluster model of the
automotive industry development.
The geographical location and logistic connections of Solomonovo industrial park
with European countries and their car manufacturers are depicted in figure 3.
The first industrial park in Ukraine, Solomonovo, is equipped with a high-tech
platform for the automotive industry. The management company "Sezaparkservis"
(part of the Atoll Holding group of companies). Industrial Park (IP) "Solomonovo" has
a state registration and a number of preferences and state guarantees, which are
enshrined at a legislative level, which increases its investment attractiveness.
Taking into account that Solomonovo project is implemented in the western part
of Ukraine, and as noted above, the expanded production facilities are located in
Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the main competitive advantage of Ukraine is
logistics. In addition, within one-day access to Poland, the Slovak Republic, Hungary,
Austria and the largest centers of Central and Eastern Europe are provided. Therefore,
it is expedient for Ukraine to gradually expand volumes of car production, focusing on
European consumer market, which covers 150 million people. The logistical link
