the belligerent parties are aimed at solidifying in the settlements with stone buildings,
getting under control the communications and strategic critical infrastructure, roads;
non-linear nature of combat operations with a combination on one area flames of
military actions and daily economic activities of the civilian population;
high maneuverability of the troops, due to two main factors - the growing mobility
of troops itself and the reduction of command and control cycles;
the emergence of new tactical techniques of organizing blocking action including
with application of “bordering fire”, “searching fire”, etc.;
flexible, dispersed combat formation of units with the task of effective use of all
types of weapons and military equipment;
the skillful usage of tactical capabilities of the terrain characteristics;
high contribution to the armed struggle of special operations and special forces.
Special forces act in the interests of ground forces, solving the tasks of deep
reconnaissance, targeting of aircraft and artillery or the destruction of important targets
and objects in the enemy rear;
combination of guerrilla and counter-guerrilla tactics, mass mining of areas and
routes used by armed formations;
the organization of military operations by creating a series of local battles and
conducting combat operations in the form of reconnaissance and sabotage actions;
the mass use of innovative high-tech weapons and military equipment (unmanned
reconnaissance automated systems, electronic countermeasure, precision weapons).
The equipment of the armed forces with entire families of robots (swarm automated
systems), the use of automated systems by irregular formations;
the increase the operational and combat capabilities of troops (forces) through the
introduction of network-centric concepts for the preparation and carrying out combat
actions in one information space;
integration of different formations and regular elements, units, formations at the
tactical level of management (base on the experience of operations in Afghanistan,
Iraq, Syria, in the southeast of Ukraine);
simultaneous combat use of obsolete and modern high-technology weapons,
including precision, as well as electronic, electromagnetic, psychotropic and other
types of "non-lethal" weapons;
presence of a significant number of radio electronic means and radio electronic
systems, including civil infrastructure in the combat zone [28], which in terms of
density and saturation exceeds (by 10-100 times) the number of military radio-
electronic equipment;
variable intensity of confrontation. Most irregular actions are protracted.
Finally, all the leading countries of the world are actively working on the creation
of means for camouflaging troops and military equipment.
