The content and the character of a research activity are determined by:

the range of tasks of a research activity and a scientific-methodological activity 

of the departments, faculties, higher education establishment; 

-

 

the subject of the researches that are effectuated by departments; 

-

 

the conditions of a research activity of students, the presence of the base of a 

research, the 

possibilities of the access to necessary scientific information, the 

presence of digital tools, the presence of skilled scientific guidance.

 

Research activity of students in establishments of higher education is realized 

in such directions: 

- scientific research as an integral part of an educational process, that belongs to 

calendar-thematic curricula and study plans, educational problems and which is 
obligatory for all students; 

- scientific research that is outside the educational process in the context of 

students' scientifically-creative society, in scientific groups, task groups and others; 

- scientifically-organizational events (conferences, competitions, olympiads, etc)

 

In some 

establishments of higher education, a special course about the 

organization and methodology of a scientific research realization is implemented. 
Besides, before starting to study a subject, at first lesson teachers acquaint students 
with the specifics of the research methods. 

Properly organised scientific research activity of students under the educational 

process contributes the deepening of mastering of educational disciplines, the exposure 
of individuality, the creation of own opinion about the subject. Students’ involvement 
into the research activity is realized through the academic group.  

The development of creative personality of future specialists, rational 

organization of educational process, direction of general and personal peculiarities 
formation of students, their training for professional activity, continuous self-education 
has to become the essential tasks of the modern establishment of higher education 
functioning. [

A student, who is engaged into the research process is responsible only for 

him/herself: only he/she is responsible for the choice of the theme of research and the 
terms of the implementation. Spending his/her personal time, student develops the most 
important skills of researcher like creative thinking, responsibility and ability to stand 
for his/her own opinion. 

The research activity realized in conjunction provides the solving of such tasks: 

formation of scientific worldview of students, grasping the methodology and the 
methods of scientific research; providing help in the fast speciality understanding; 
development of creative thinking and individual abilities in practical tasks solving; 
independent research skills improvement; development of initiative and ability to apply 
theoretical knowledges into the practical activity; involving the most capable students
