The simplest form of scientific research is paper. The examination paper contains 

a review and analysis of a certain range of the scientific sources, and the search paper 
highlights certain information and embraces the elements of the independent search. 

A term paper is an independent research on the basis of grasped knowledges, that 

includes certain theoretical and practical experience of a student. Its contain

A master paper is a completed independent work, which contains scientific 

clauses for public advocacy, that is a certification of the proper scientific, theoretical 
and practical level, the ability to use creatively the modern methods of research. 

A report is an oral exposition of the results of the independently worked out topic 

with the help of training manual, special literature and other sources.  

The aim of the scientific report is the forming of the ability of student to connect 

theory with the practice, to use literature, statistical data, to explain complex issues, to 
behave confident in front of an audience.  

Thus, the student’s scientific research activity is the important factor of the 

effective professional training improvement of the future specialist in the establishment 
of higher education, because it requires the personalization of education, extends the 
amount of knowledges, skills and abilities of students, contributes the activity, 
initiative, curiosity formation, develops the creative thinking, encourages to search 
independently.  

The role of the research competency among the professional competencies of a 

language teacher. The indicator that a teacher is a professional is the presence of a lot 
of teacher competencies. Improving these competencies makes teacher able to make 
better the level of performance in the classroom and to higher the quality of education. 
To develop this competencies teacher needs to apply a reflective teaching practice 
while teaching, use his/her professional abilities to motivate and promote learning, 
moreover to evaluate the results.
