translating the program of mental representations (contained in consciousness) into the
technical apparatus of a musician unfolds with the will of the performer, which,
through control activity of attention, activates the processes of thinking, memory and
imagination. This voluntary concentration of attention allows the performer to translate
the internal (mental) action plan into the external (real sound instrument).
The synthesis of the phenomenology of attention and the main approaches to the
definition of executive attention, came to the following understanding: executive
attention - is a complex psychic phenomenon, which directs and accompanies the
cognitive processes of the musician, the artist, reflecting the dynamics of their flow at
various stages of work on the musical composition, and is reflected in the concentration
throughout the search, detailing and the implementation of a self-executing-interpreted
concept. The organizing factor of the phenomenon under investigation is the goals of
the musical performance of the musician, and the result of his activity is to increase the
productivity of the latter.
