self-development of the learner; 2) the ability to study independently is manifested in
the educational activity, which is built up within the formal, informal or informal
education; instead, the ability to study in the system of continuous education serves to
solve a personally significant problem on the basis of a combination of formal, informal
and informal learning at a certain level of education (in the case of formulation the
short-term goal, the achievement of which is less remote in time) or with the
involvement of different levels of education (if the goal is characterized as distant).
We define the cleverness to self-studying in the system of continuous education
as the ability to consciously, consistently promote and develop development and self-
development of actions that are subordinated to a certain goal, are aimed at goals,
coordinated by reflection and implemented in the process of a thematic combination of
formal, informal and informal education involving different levels of education or one
of them.
The cleverness to self-study in the system of continuing education is a complex
integrated ability, which combines three groups of skills: a) a group of skills to carry
out goal-setting (ability to formulate the goal of future activities, the ability to set goals,
the ability to formulate the task); b) a group of skills in modeling the combination of
formal, informal and non-formal education (ability to recall knowledge and skills
acquired in formal, informal, non-formal education; ability to thematically combine
formal, informal and non-formal education; ability to determine the perspective
direction of self-development; ability to model self-education and self-development;
c) a group of reflection skills (ability to establish a correspondence between achieved
and planned; the ability to make a decision caused by the need for changes in the
simulated process; ability to set the basis for success, causes of failure and mistakes
made).
