Thus, the motor activity of cows per day in comparison with the equal period
increased by only 5 minutes (1.0 %), and compared with the first one - decreased by 9
minutes (3.0 %). Rumination also increased by 13 min (3.0 %) and 7.0 min (2.0 %)
respectively, and the average daily yield
in the first case decreased by 1.0 kg (1.0 %)
and remained unchanged.
Taking into account the above and analyzing the graphs (Fig. 1), it can be
concluded that there is a clearly expressed dependence of chewing activity on the
content of "effective" fiber in the mixed diet, which is consistent with the data of
studies [1, 6, 7, 8, 13].

When increasing the size of the hay and hay particles for the excluded slasher
