The biochemical characteristics described above are common to virtually all test
cows and do not reveal any association with changes in the structure of the diet in
accordance with the experimental scheme. However, considering the content of urea
blood serum, it should be noted that the shutdown of a slasher in the first experimental
period allowed to avoid an increase in the index of urea content by 10 % for the 1 st
test group with a slight out-of-boundness norm, which was observed for 2 reasons not
observed for 2 the experimental group. Increased urea content in the blood serum of
cows, as a rule, indicates a temporary violation of the energy-protein ratio in the diet.
According to the content of total calcium, aspartate aminotransferases and ketone
bodies in the blood, the cows were stably within the limits of the physiological norm.
