The scientific novelty of work is the DVB-T2 standard modulation and coding
combinations investigation that are being used in simplex high speed communication
lines, and their application in high speed multiservice duplex communication lines.
Research results. Let’s take a look to information provided in the sections below.
They expand the subject work in details.
1.
Relevance of performance reserch for the multiservice duplex systems using
conversion methods from DVB-T2 standard.
The current development and technology stage of science is characterized by the
rapid development of information technology, where a significant place is dedicated to
information transmission. The term “information” implies a set of structured data
about any process, event, facts, items, etc. The technical means for information
transmission and reception are named by the term “communications”.
A set of data to be transmitted and presented in a particular form is called a
“message” in the communication theory. In communications technology each message
is assigned to a set of electrical signals.
A set of technical means for messages transmission from the source to the
consumer refers to a communication system. The mandatory components of any
communication system, regardless of the transmitted messages type, are the
transmitter, communication link and receiver.
DVB-T2 television broadcast standard research relevance is primarily the fact
that it was designed to enhance the digital television network throughputby at least
30% higher throughputcompared to DVB-T, with the same network infrastructure and
frequency resources. The new standard is improved and is functionally advanced
substitution for DVB-T standard (has such features as scrambling, interleaving,
modern encoding methods), while each step of signal conversion is enhanced in DVB-
T2.
In this paper, the aim is to offer a multiservice duplex system with the technical
features of DVB-T2 standard, that will respond properly to the changes on the line in
case of urgent network deployment in emergency situations, when there is no time for
accurate link energy path estimations, and while multipath conditions vary.
2.
Justification of the performance indicators for telecommunication system.
The main characteristic of the communication channel is its throughput, which
represents the maximum information transmission rate for a certain period of time
under given communication channel power characteristics. Another important
characteristic represents the actual information transfer speed – productivity [5-7].
It should be noted that the approximation measure of channel productivity to
its throughput is named the information efficiency of transmission system [7-8].
The use of modulation-coding sequences (MCS) [2, 9-11] in DVB-T2 allows
effectively use communication channel resources, as far as it’s possible then to win
